This is the place to be! Enjoy a spirited Shabbat dinner with family and friends. Doors open at 7:00 pm, dining hall opens at 7:30 pm. Following dinner Magevet, Yale's only Jewish a cappella singing group will perform at 9:00 pm.
The cost of Shabbat dinner is 1 meal swipe or $28. For students (undergraduates and grad/professional students) who are not on meal plan, a generous donor covers the cost of the meal. To help us make sure as many people can access Shabbat dinner as possible, if you are on meal plan, please reserve your dinner swipe for use at Slifka. If you are in the Yale “trainee” category (i.e. post doc, post bacc, junior researcher), you are covered by the donor. Please direct any questions to Rachel (rachel.leiken@yale.edu).
Reserve your spot for Shabbat Dinner (Fridays 7:30PM), Shabbat Lunch (Saturday 12:30PM), or all 3 meals (Shabbat Dinner, Shabbat Lunch and Third Meal – held on Saturday 10 minutes after sunset).
